Recommendations for visiting the London Eye

Visiting the London Eye is an unforgettable experience, and here are some recommendations to make the most of your visit:

  • To enjoy a more tranquil experience, we recommend visiting the attraction early in the morning or later, near closing time. During peak periods, such as weekends and school holidays, you may have to wait longer.

  • The time indicated on the ticket is the time you enter the queue. During peak hours, the wait can be up to 45 minutes from this point. Plan your visit accordingly.

  • If you have a standard entry ticket, proceed to Entrance A at the time indicated on your ticket.

  • If you have fast track tickets, proceed to Entrance F at the time indicated on your ticket.

  • For larger groups, we request that you arrive at the London Eye at least 15 minutes before your scheduled reservation time. This will help facilitate a smooth boarding process.

How to get to the London Eye in London?

  • Waterloo is the closest train station, just a 5-minute walk away. Take the exit towards the South Bank and follow the signs. You can also use the Sidings entrance, which has shops, food, and entertainment. To find this entrance, walk straight from the London Eye and cross the A3200 road.

  • Guests planning to travel by train to our attractions can visit National Rail to find the nearest train station and plan their journey.

  • Waterloo is the closest metro station to The lastminute.com London Eye. Waterloo is about a 5-minute walk away, located in Zone 1 and is well connected by the Bakerloo (brown) line, Jubilee (gray) line, Northern (black) line, and Waterloo and City (turquoise) line. Exit the station following the signs for South Bank.

  • Embankment, Charing Cross, and Westminster stations are also within walking distance of the London Eye.

  • Embankment and Charing Cross stations are close to each other on the north side of the River Thames. Both metro stations are a 10-15 minute walk from The lastminute.com London Eye. From the station, cross the Hungerford Bridge.

  • The taxi rank at the London Eye is located at the end of our landscape; taxis will also stop here to take you on your next trip.

  • You can find taxi ranks nearby at various points in the city.

  • Buses serving the London Eye include the following: 1, 12, 59, 68, 76, 77, 139, 148, 159, 168, 176, 188, 211, 243, 77, 381, 507, 521.

  • The London Eye is on most London bus tour routes and on the RV1 route connecting the London Eye with other London attractions, such as the Tate Modern and Covent Garden.

  • The London Eye is also on the red route of the open-top sightseeing bus tour of Big Bus Tour London. You can buy tickets here or visit the Transport of London (TFL) journey planner.

  • The London Eye is located next to the London Eye Pier. There are a number of services that stop at the London Eye Pier traveling from the O2, Bankside, Embankment, Blackfriars, London Bridge, Tower, Canary Wharf, Hilton Docklands, Masthouse Terrace, Greenwich, Royal Arsenal Woolwich, St. Katherine's, or Westminster Piers.

  • No changes are allowed to the date or time of purchased tickets and no refunds are made.
  • Punctuality Arriving On Time Is crucial for your reservation. Late arrival may result in the loss of the reservation and the allotted time.
  • Prohibited Items Dangerous objects such as weapons, flammable products, or items that could cause harm are not allowed.
  • Minors under 16 must be accompanied by an adult and under their responsibility.
  • Appropriate Conduct Visitors must behave respectfully and follow staff instructions. Behavior that could compromise the safety or experience of others is not allowed.
  • Photography and Recording Taking photos inside the capsules is allowed, but the use of tripods and professional photography equipment may be restricted.
  • Food and Drink Eating or drinking inside the capsules is not allowed to keep them clean.
  • For the safety of all visitors, security checks are carried out at the entrance.
